Pools, wading pools and spray parks

Newer post with updated 2023 info here

With news that Colman Pool is scheduled to open June 19th, I decided it was time to dig out all my notes on local pools, wading pools and spray parks. While not everything is opening this year there are still plenty of ways to have fun on a hot day.

And if you have older kiddos, check out my paddleboard/kayaking post.

Detailed map

Wading pools open on days when the weather forecast is for 70 degrees or above and will close during the day if there is thunder and lighting. Schedules are different for every wading pool, and some are not opening at all this year, so make sure to confirm the days and hours of operation online or over the phone since it's subject to change. Swim diapers are required for kids that are not potty trained.
