With two weeks of no school ahead here’s a list of ideas of things to do over the break. Some are links to earlier posts and some are new—like a calendar list of specific activities. - See some holiday lights.

- Try spotting some whales and other marine life.
- Discover secret spots in West Seattle.
- Ways to have fun outside, even in the rain.
- Where to play inside, when it's a bit too cold or wet.
- Different ways to give back by volunteering.
- Sledding spots
Working on a post for this in Jan/Feb but in case it snows before then here are some top spots—Hamilton Viewpoint, Westcrest Park and West Seattle Golf Course*, plus any park close to you with hills. *Do note, the WS Golf Course only opens once Seattle Parks and Rec announces it.
