    A great resource for all things Halloween happening locally.

  • The Great Pumpkin Search / Saturday, October 8—2-5 pm
  • Birds of Roxhill Park—Bird Sit / Saturday, October 8—2-3:30pm
  • Gatewood Halloween Show / Saturday 10/15 and 10/29—7:30 & 8:30pm (Added 10/12/22)
    37th Ave SW + SW Austin Street
    Neighborhood fun with two 15 min shows. Rain cancels.
  • Kids Great Pumpkin Day / Sunday, October 16— 4pm
    Puget Ridge Edible Park
    Neighborhood kids are invited to come pick a pumpkin to take home.
  • Wilderness Outdoor School Tracking Club / Saturday, October 15th—9am-Noon
    Lincoln Park. Ages 13 and up. Free.
  • Salmon Drumming at Fauntleroy Creek / Sunday, October 16— 4pm
    4539 SW Director Place 
    Annual all-ages event welcoming the salmon home to Fauntleroy Creek with drumming (bring any kind) and singing. Heavy rain cancels. You can also sign up to be a volunteer salmon watcher. 
  • Halloween Movie Night / Friday, October 21st—6-7:30pm
    Paper Boat Booksellers, 6040 California Ave SW
    Come watch Room On The Broom, nibble on snacks and get a paperback copy of the book to take home. Tickets required to attend. $12/kiddo.
  • Seattle Forest Week / October 22 - 29th
    Weeklong celebration for Seattle's urban forests. So far, only seeing one local event but there are several work parties you can participate in.
    • Saturday, October 22nd / 10am-Noon—Connecting to Longfellow Creek
      Dragonfly Pavilion Park, 4111 28th Ave SW, Seattle 98106
      Learn about the ecosystem of the creek, take a guided walk and look for returning Coho salmon (starts at 11am) and enjoy art activities and music.
  • Halloween Family Magic Show and Food Drive / October 22nd, 2022, at 8 pm
  • Kenyon Hall, 7904 35th SW
  • Fauntleroy Fall FestivalSunday, October 23rd, 2-5 pm.
    Paint pumpkins, build bird houses and make salmon hats. Food also available to purchase from local businesses.
  • Admiral Trick or Treating / October 28th—3-6pm (Updated 10/15/22)
  • Glow Party at Delridge Community Center / Friday, October 28th—6-8pm
    4501 Delridge Way SW
    Themed games, snacks, and music. Wear your costume, face paint, or anything that will illuminate the party. Ages 5 and up. FREE. 
  • 11th Annual Monster Dash / Saturday, October 29th—starting at 9:30am
    Lincoln Park
    Fun costumed 5k trail run/walk and kids dash supporting South Seattle Co-Op Preschools.

    Upcycling crafting activities and offers classes, birthday parties and other events for kids or adults.
